Days prior to the August 7th deadline, famous Haitian-American rapper Wyclef Jean has announced that he will run for President of Haiti in this year’s November 28th election!!
“If not for the earthquake, I probably would have waited another 10 years before doing this. If I can’t take five years out to serve my country as President… then everything I’ve been singing about, like equal rights, doesn’t mean anything.”
Wouldn't it be awesome to have a rapper as President? Even if it was like Eminem, Drake, or Jay Z? They could create a whole campaign! Imagine how some of the laws would change...
